Quiet Mornings Monthly on the 2nd Friday 10am to 1.30pm

A time for personal and guided reflection. 


Our February Quiet Morning, Friday 14th, will be led by Fiona Elliott on the theme Listening to God – learning from the birds.  A  light lunch will be provided and donations invited towards its cost. 


Coffee & Company, every Wednesday 10am to 11.30am. Please support these weekly coffee mornings as and when you can.  Intended for our wider community, they are open to friends, family and anyone in the neighbourhood. Will you help spread the word, please?

Quaker Quicks - Telling the Truth about God: by Rhiannon Grant: An exploration and discussion of this book from the Quaker Quicks series. This will take three sessions, Sundays 9th, 23rd February and March 8th, each preceded by a no-fuss lunch of cuppa-soup, bread and cheese.

"Telling the truth about God without excluding anyone is a challenge to the Quaker community. Drawing on the authors academic research into Quaker uses of religious language and her teaching to Quaker and academic groups, Rhiannon Grant aims to make accessible some key theological and philosophical insights."

Study material will be available on the day but you may wish to read the book in advance. It is available from and Amazon. rrp  £6.99. The study is mainly for the benefit of Quakers but anyone else is welcome. 


Snowdrop Day: Saturday 15th 2pm - 4pm  please invite friends and family to join us for tea, cake and snowdrops. Cancelled due to severe weather warnings.


Citizens UK, Monday 24th, at 7pm: Dr Timothy Hall from Peterborough University Centre will tell us more about Citizens UK, which organises communities to act together for power, social justice and the common good.
