About Quakerism

Quakers share a way of life, rather than one set of strict beliefs.

We seek a direct connection with God in order to learn and develop our lives from the spiritual insights we find there.

The roots of Quakerism are in the Christian faith. Quakers also draw on the wisdom to be gained from other spiritual figures and religions.

We have some common ideas or testimonies which guide and enrich our lives. They are peace, honesty, equality and simplicity.

We are urged to live life adventurously!
